Base Features
The 2022 Tundra is a full-size pickup truck that has accumulated a loyal customer base since its introduction. The Tundra comes standard with a 3.4-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine and 10-speed automatic transmission, which delivers 389 horsepower while delivering a fuel economy rating of 18 mpg city/24 mpg highway. The hybrid model gets slightly better fuel economy with a rating of 20 mpg city/24 mpg highway. The Tundra, however is one of the few full-size trucks on the market that does not come with an optional V-8 engine.

Infotainment and Technology
The Tundra now comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment center that can be upgraded to an industry-leading 14 inches. The newly redesigned infotainment comes with wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto connectivity, as well as a subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot. The standard 8-inch touchscreen comes with a volume knob, while the 14-inch version does not. A 7-inch digital driver information center is standard for 2022.
Innovative Driver Assist Technology
The new Tundra comes stocked full of impressive safety and driver assistance features. One of these features is the Adaptive Cruise Control.
